Kinshasa (Agenzia Fides) - "The Pedagogical Research Center (CRP) was founded with the mission of contributing to the development of the Democratic Republic of the Congo by taking an active part in promoting education and training for Congolese youth. This noble mission must continue despite the uncertainties of history", said Fr. The celebration of 60 years of its existence revolved around some cultural activities, such as a series of conferences on "the challenges of the CRP that deals with the reform of the educational system in the DRC" and an exhibition of 400 books published by the publishing house.
Fr. Michel Ekonzo, vice-provincial and representative of the Provincial Superior of the Fathers of Scheut, took the opportunity to praise the work done during the CPR in these 60 years and encouraged the managerial staff to undertake new initiatives for the integral formation of young people Congolese.
