Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On October 13, 2015 Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed Rev. Fr. Gangarapu Anil Kumar, of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) as Rector of the "St. Paul" inter-diocesan Seminary in the diocese of Vijayawada,.
The new Rector was born on July 15, 1976, he made his first religious profession on May 24, 1996 and was ordained a priest on December 9, 2006. He studied philosophy in Yercaud and theology in Pune. He specialized in Youth Pastoral and Biblical Theology in Rome. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 19/02/2016)
