ASIA/CHINA - The bull distributed to the faithful of Our Lady of Carmel parish in Beijing

Wednesday, 18 November 2015 jubilee of mercy

Beijing (Agenzia Fides) - Six hundred copies of Misericordiae vultus, the extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy bull proclaimed by Pope Francis, were distributed to the faithful of Our Lady of Carmel parish in Beijing during Mass on Sunday, November 15.
According to information gathered by Agenzia Fides, the parish priest, Father Zhang said: "the faithful have to know the meaning of the Jubilee, to live and experience the mercy of God, and to receive the grace and Jubilee blessing". For the priest, "there is no text or a better way to achieve this knowledge if not the bull itself".
Fr. Zhang also presented the figure of St. Faustina Kowalska and invited the faithful to live the Year of Mercy in five ways: by celebrating the day of mercy, saying the prayer of mercy, living a gesture of mercy, venerating the image of mercy and spreading the devotion of mercy, so that everyone can experience it.
Since the 600 copies of the bull, published by Faith, have now run out, the pastor has decided to order more, "because the thirst for spiritual life of each member of the community is top priority". (NZ) (Agenzia Fides 18/11/2015)
