ASIA/TAIWAN - 24 graduates from the Institute of Theology at Fu Ren Catholic University receive their mandate for pastoral work in the local Church

Taipei (Fides Service) - At Fu RenCatholic University in Taipei 24 graduates from the Institute of Theology, 4 religious, 9 deacons, 3 Sisters and 8 lay men and women recently concluded their studies and are now ready for pastoral activity in parishes.
The cermony was attended by bishops, religious superiors, family members and friends. According to the diocesan bulletin Christian Life Weekly in the light of the Word of God and with the encouragment of the bishops and religious superiors and the support of the families and strengthened by friendships built in three years of shared studies, the graduates are ready to start a new period in their life, as they said during a solemn Mass: “We accept our mandate with emotion and with immense gratitude and we are ready for pastoral work”.
Some of the men and women religious will work in their own communities, others will continue their studies. All of them encouraged other students to respond to the Lord’s call and to improve their Christian life with theological formation.
