AFRICA/EGYPT - The Coptic Orthodox Church: "Employment Day" for young job seekers

Cairo (Agenzia Fides) - More than ten national and multinational companies have joined "Employment Day", the convention organized in Cairo on Saturday, December 13 at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral by the Economic Commission of the Department for Youth of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate. This is confirmed by local sources consulted by Agenzia Fides. The initiative aims to bring together applications and jobs and promote employment opportunities for young Egyptians, in a time when their generation is penalized heavily in terms of employment due to the political and economic crisis which is being experienced in the large Arab country.
