Friday, 25 January 2013

Tripoli (Agenzia Fides) – Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia have urged their citizens to leave Benghazi immediately for fear of imminent terrorist attacks. An attack on oil installations is feared, such as the one that struck the station Almenas gas production in Algeria . Libyan Prime Minister, Ali Zeidan, said that the government has taken serious measures to protect national oil installations. The body responsible for the protection of oil sites, the Petroleum Faculty Guard (PFG), recently said that among the security measures taken are the formation of a special operations control room and crisis management and intensification of patrols with pure air support inside and outside the installations.
