Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - Sharing Jesus with others by promoting the evangelization of the family, and welcoming so many vocations is the theme of the seminar organized by the National Association Mission, which took place at the end of August, on the occasion of the Year of laity. According to reports from the "Catholic Weekly", of the Archdiocese of Tai Pei, His Exc. Mgr. John Hung, SVD, Archbishop of Taipei, defined the three days of sharing and discussion, from August 26 to 28, as “a” training before going on the battlefield", because "evangelization calls for a good preparation, carried out with biblical reflection and a continuing deepening of the catechism as a strong basis. In addition, everything starts from the family. Because young people first see and then personally experience God's love in the family, and therefore also a number of vocations increase".
During the three days of spiritual recharge Mgr. Joseph Wang, emeritus Bishop of the diocese of Tai Chung, Mgr Joseph Ti, emeritus Bishop of the diocese of Tai Pei, Mgr. Peter Liu, Archbishop of the diocese of Kao Hsiung and Fr. Fang, Jesuit theologian, presented several spiritual and theological topics focused on the Year of the Laity, on the encyclicals of Pope Benedict XVI and Blessed John Paul II. Finally, some priests, religious men and women and lay who work in the field of evangelization talked about their missionary experience in healthcare, media, prison and parish pastoral.
