Santo Domingo (Agenzia Fides) - The precarious sanitary conditions of Centre Médico Honduras in Santo Domingo, have led the Ministry of Local Public Health to close down the facility. The state of abandonment of areas such as critical care, laboratories and emergency ward, are the reasons why the direction of the Centre and the Ministry have decided for the temporary closure. In two months, with Centre Médico Honduras, 21 health centers have been closed for violating rules of general health and hygiene. (PA) (Agenzia Fides 07/22/2011)
