Hong Kong (Agenzia Fides) - "He is already here" is the theme on behalf of the Catholic Association of the Laity of the Diocese of Hong Kong at the International Book Fair in Hong Kong which opened today, July 20, and will end on Tuesday, July 26. According to what Fides learns by the Association, the theme is a continuation of last year’s - "an unexpected gift for you: the Lord Jesus Christ" - and intends to address all those who visit the sector, inviting them to find "He, Jesus Christ" in a "gift box" that represents love, peace, sharing, blessing... Through these gifts ... "the message of evangelization is spread". In addition to Catholic books, the Catholic community also presents T-shirts and gifts at the Fair on the theme of evangelization. As usual, the Association of Catholic Laity, under the coordination of the Commission for Social Communications of the diocese, also this year occupies a space in the Catholic sector in the annual International Book Fair in Hong Kong. The solemn missionary mandate to the volunteers who serve at the Fair was celebrated on July 17, so through books you can have good missionary success. Don Francis Lau Tak Kwong, spiritual director of the Association, presided at the ceremony by explaining the meaning of evangelization.
