Hong Kong (Agenzia Fides) - Five members of the Franciscan Third Order in Hong Kong have made a profession of the Rule on April 3. Among them was Don Francis Tam Kam Wing, the Hong Kong diocesan priest, who said that the experience of the Franciscan Third Order "has strenghthened and consolidated" his priesthood. According to reports from the Kong Ko Bao (the Chinese version of the diocesan bulletin), in addition to the priest, four young men of the Fraternity of S. Bonaventura have made a profession of the Rule on the same occasion, becoming "youth of St. Francis. " Today between Macao and Hong Kong there are about 130 members of the Franciscan Third Order, with three communities in Hong Kong and Macao. They meet regularly twice a month. Their goal is to "deeply live the Gospel life in the spirit of St. Francis of stigmata.
