Santiago (Agenzia Fides) – The Commission for the Continental Mission in Chile has prepared a video and other AV material for the missionary campaign for the new pastoral care year beginning in South America. The material will be offered to dioceses, parishes and missionary groups for meetings and other ecclesial meeting planned for 2011 as part of the missionary renewal of the Church in Chile following the Aparecida conference.
2011 in Chile is the Year of Missionary Communion and the materials prepared by the Commission include the testimony of Pastors such as the President of the Episcopal Conference and Archbishop of Santiago, Archbishop Ricardo Ezzati; the Coordinator of Continental Missions in Chile, Mons. Cristián Precht; and Bishop Santiago Silva. They invite people to achieve a Church of communion and at the same time to be attentive to that which is emerging in society today.
