AMERICA/UNITED STATES - Dicoesan directors of U.S. PMS pay visit to the Church in Kenya

New York (Agenzia Fides) – A group of ten diocesan directors and coordinators from the Pontifical Missionary Societies (PMS) in the United States, accompanied by two journalists from Catholic News Service (CNS), led by the PMS National Director, Mons. John Kozar, are in Kenya for a missionary visit to the local Church in this African Country. According to information sent to Fides by Monica Yahle (from the U.S. PMS), during the visit to Kenya they will be guided by the Kenyan PMS director, Fr Celestino Bundi, who has also planned meetings between the U.S. diocesan directors and those of Kenya, with a focus on: the Charter of the PMS, the promotion of the missions, and the Universal Solidarity Fund. The initiative is co-sponsored by the Maryknoll missionaries, the Society for Foreign Missions of the United States of America, as part of the celebrations for the centenary of the foundation.
