Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) – It is considered the symbol of evangelization through mass media in Taiwan: Catholic catechetical radio program titled "Life is Beautiful," which celebrated its 500th episode on World Mission Sunday. According to reports from the Catholic Weekly of the Archdiocese of Tai Pei, the first episode of this radio program of catechesis was broadcast on April 1, 2001, and on October 24, 2010 it aired episode number 500. "We will continue for another 500 episodes or even more,", Archbishop Peter Liu of Kao Hsiung told the volunteers who work on the program, "as evangelization through the mass media is an instrument that we should hold in utmost consideration." Those working in the media have seen this significant anniversary as an opportunity to thank the Lord, "because if we did not have the Lord's blessing, everything would be impossible for us."
