Saturday, 19 June 2010

Cuzco (Agenzia Fides) – Today the first meeting of the Deanery of Paruro will take place in the parish of San Martino de Tours in Ccapi, archdiocese Cuzco. Seven different parishes will be represented: Accha, Rondocan, Yaurisque, Huanoquite, Colcha, Paruro and Paccarectambo. The Meeting will discuss guidelines for the work of evangelisation in the context of the Continental Mission. The Meeting will open with the celebration of Mass. The archdiocese of Cuzco is working according to the Pastoral Programme outlined by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Peru for the Continental Mission, of which the principal goal is to increase awareness among Catholics that “all the baptised are Missionary Disciples of Christ and have the duty to grow in formation and in communion.” (CE) (Agenzia Fides, 19/06/2010)
