Lima (Agenzia Fides) – The Peruvian Bishops' Conference will present the book "We are Missionary Disciples," of the the Pontifical Commission for Latin America, on Monday, December 14 at the Consortium of Catholic schools (via General Suarez 287, Miraflores) at 4pm. The presentation will be chaired by Archbishop Miguel Cabrejos Vidarte, OFM of Trujillo, President of the Peruvian Bishops' Conference. The Continental Mission in Peru has a busy agenda that includes many formation activities. As the Bishops say in the document prepared for the Continental Mission, “the reference point that indicates the way is the document of Aparecida." The second part of the document of Aparecida, which is entitled "The life of Jesus Christ in missionary disciples," shows the beauty of faith in Jesus Christ as the source of life for men and women who have joined Him and are on the journey of missionary discipleship. In the book, which will be presented December 14, four subsequent chapters address the great interlaced dimensions affecting Christians as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. The joy of being called to preach the Gospel, with all its consequences as "Good News" about the person and society; the vocation to holiness; the communion of the whole People of God and all the People of God (CE) (Agenzia Fides 09/12/2009)
