Czestochowa (Agenzia Fides) – Among the pastoral initiatives being promoted for the Year of Saint Paul in the Archdiocese of Czestochowa are the Bible Encounters on Saint Paul. The themes for the Encounters will include the life and activity of Saint Paul and the theological content of His Letters and they will be held on a monthly basis in Czestochowa, at the church of the Holy Name of Mary and at the Major Seminary.
Taking place during the Year of Saint Paul, the Encounters are especially designed for catechists, religion teachers, and primary and middle school teachers of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa.
There will be other encounters organized by the Religious Education Office for children and youth of the Archdiocese. This pastoral initiative was promoted by Archbishop Stanislaw Nowak, Metropolitan Archbishop of Czestochowa, for the churches and parishes during the Year of Saint Paul. The general life and story of Saint Paul will be presented by Father Jacek Molka, Professor of Sacred Scripture a the Archdiocesan Major Seminary and at the Theological Institute in Czestochowa.
