VATICAN - Holy See Press Office statement with regard to Pope Benedict XVI's visit to the La Sapienza University

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - In the afternoon of 15 January the Holy See Press Office issued the following statement in Italian: “Following incidents known to all with regard to the Holy Father's visit to La Sapienza University at the invitation of the Rector which was to take place on Thursday 17 January, it seemed best to cancel the event.
