Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Encyclical on Christian Hope: Not elements of the cosmos, the laws of matter which definitively government the world and man, but a personal God who governs the starts, that is the universe; not the laws of matter and evolution are the last instance, but reason, will, love - a Person.
- Benedict and the self-critique of modern Christianity. “self-critique of modern Christianity” I find the most unexpected words of the encyclical.
- The Inferno of Pope Ratzinger. and Paradise, and Purgatory... In the Encyclical the Pope writes his own person divine comedy.
- Ratzinger's encyclical between the hereafter and hope: hope is defined as «the expectation of things to come from the perspective of a present that is already given», in other words Christ.
An Oblate in Thai prisons: Bernard WIRTH writes about what he tries to do every Friday in a prison for foreign citizens Bangkok. “I am not alone in this work. There are about 50 of us members of many associations and groups which visit prisoners regularly. (C.E.) (Agenzia Fides 30/11/2007; Righe 14 -Parole 167)
