Lima (Agenzia Fides) - To face the disastrous situation in South Chico following the earthquake last August, through its Youth Without Frontiers movement the Pontifical Mission Societies in Peru have organised a 2nd Solidarity Campaign in aid of the many people affected. The Campaign will work along three lines to assist 1,000 people: healthcare, environment, missionary pastoral starting with an initial work of orientation and training of personnel in the disaster area in the mentioned fields to improve living conditions. Youth Without Frontiers hopes to obtain support of institutions and individuals ready to offer donations. The young people will distribute the aid themselves and offer pastoral assistance among the brothers and sisters in the south.
