ASIA/CHINA - Lenten spiritual retreat of the Diocese of Lan Zhou: St. Paul as an example of priesthood

Lan Zhou (Agenzia Fides) - Continue to take St. Paul as an example of priesthood: is the invitation addressed to the priests of the Diocese of Lan Zhou, in Gan Su province, during the 5-day Lenten spiritual retreat for diocesan priests that was held recently. According to what was reported to Fides by Faith of He Bei, the priests shared the virtues, the quality and spirituality of a tireless pastor in mission as St. Paul. In the final Mass, presided by Archbishop Han Zhi Hai, the participants reaffirmed the conviction with which S. Paul must continue to be their example of priest.
The Diocese of Lan Zhou today has 40 thousand Catholics, divided into 48 parishes, thirty priests, more than 200 women religious belonging to three congregations (Missionary Servants of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Family and the Daughters of Our Lady of China).
