AMERICA/MEXICO - Towards CELAM 5: 15th Theology Week also via the Internet, focus on Discipleship

Mexico City (Agenzia Fides) - Discipleship is the theme of the 15th Theology Week 5 to 9 March organised jointly by the Inter-Continental University of Mexico and the Missionaries of Guadalupe. The theme was drawn from the theme of the General Conference of the Council of Latin American Bishops’ Conferences to be held in Brazil in May. The study sessions, being held at Auditorium Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, in Mexico City, can also be followed via the Internet www.mg.org.mx or www.uic.edu.mx
Lectures will consider various aspects of Christian discipleship Biblical, Systematic, Pastoral and Missiological. Speakers will include Enrique Dussel, Armando Noguez, Eloy Buono, Francisco Merlos, Juan Pablo Brand, José Luís González, Rodolfo Serralde, and J. Jesús Legorreta. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the Missionaries of Guadalupe Mission Museum to learn more about the culture and evangelisation in the different missions where its members are active.
