Bangui (Agenzia Fides) - The 71-year-old Italian Carmelite missionary Norberto Pozzi, injured by a landmine on the road from Bozoum to Bocaranga in north-western Central African Republic (see Fides, 13/2/2023), arrived this morning February 24 in Bologna after a long flight that first took him from Entebbe (Uganda) to Amsterdam and then by ambulance plane to Bologna where he was admitted to the Rizzoli hospital. Father Aurelio Gazzera, a confrere of Father Norberto, confirmed this to Fides. The Italian missionary was accompanied by a Ugandan doctor and Father Aurelio Gazzera. (L.M.)
