Tecámac (Agenzia Fides) - As part of a campaign with the hashtag #TodosSomosPadrePaco, the Catholics in Tecámac express their solidarity with Priest Francisco Núñez Martínez from Santa María Ajoloapan parish in Tecámac, who has been reported missing since Monday, October 26.
Mgr. Guillermo Francisco Escobar Galicia, Bishop of the diocese of Teotihuacán, to which the priest belongs, is saddened by his disappearance and asked the congregation for their prayers: "Let us pray together with the Community of the Missionary Order of the Holy Trinity, to which the Father belongs, as well as to his family and the parish community, in the hope that the great and good God will take care of the priest wherever he is, and that we will soon have good news", he said.
At the time of his disappearance, the 55-year-old priest was wearing jeans, a plaid shirt and a black jacket. This is announced by the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico, which confirms the initial police investigation. (CE) (Agenzia Fides, 31/10/2020)
