According to information sent to Fides by the National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) of Poland, Mgr. Tomasz Atlas, this second year of the course was a continuation of the first, with in-depth anaysis on issues regarding missiology and activities of the PMS. In addition, thanks to the centenary of the Pontifical Missionary Union, space was dedicated to this subject. Workshops on the New Evangelization and laboratories were carried out to effectively use modern media, such as Facebook and websites, in missionary animation.
"The news is a new form of missionary formation for young people, the Youth Missionary Volunteers, sponsored by the Society for the Propagation of the Faith - says Fr. Maciej Bedzinski, National Secretary of the Propagation of the Faith and St. Peter the Apostle Society -. This proposal is aimed at young people who go to college and high school. We want to fill a gap that we have between the foyer of missionary children and missionary groups of students, where voluntary missionary takes place, among others, with the Salesians, Pallottines, Salvatorians. We want young people to learn what missionary spirituality is". (SL) (Agenzia Fides 06/07/2016)
