London (Agenzia Fides) - The plight of refugee children seems to have no limits. A report by the British NGO Europol states that children continue to be exploited illegally in the Turkish textile factories that work for big names in Western clothing. The complaint came after the alarming finding that, in the past two years, 10,000 children have disappeared in Europe. Europol highlighted the existence of criminal gangs linked to sexual exploitation and slavery, which operate at a European level determined to take advantage of refugee children.
