Phnom Penh (Agenzia Fides) - The non-profit Center for Development Cooperation, CCS Italy is committed to the welfare of children in the kindergartens of the islands and remote areas of Cambodia. Parents are involved in preparing meals in school canteens. After the distribution of food in kindergartens, the non-profit organization involved parents to ensure a better quality of the meals provided to children, but also to enable the development of a greater sense of participation, which in this way day after day parents become more aware of the importance to allow their children to attend kindergarten. This is what is reported in a statement sent to Agenzia Fides by CCS Italy. In order to ensure high-quality food, the meals are planned according to a balanced nutritional program and their preparation, even when carried out by cooks, always sees the participation of parents and the community.
