AFRICA/EGYPT - An 'educational manual' on the internet for jihadist mothers

Monday, 5 January 2015

Cairo (Agenzia Fides) - 'The role of women in the jihad' is the title of a book which was recently presented on the Internet compiled by the extremist group of the Islamic State that continues to train child soldiers. The manual exposes cruel methods of child recruitment. The children of the members of the Islamic State are sent to camps where they learn to handle firearms and even to decapitate enemies. It also explains to jihadist women how to form the ideals of minors and their view of the world so they become good fighters. This is what is reported by the Research Institute of the Media in the Middle East (MEMRI). At 7 years of age children are less receptive, according to the manual, and this is why the training and learning of extremist ideas should start early. No one knows who wrote or published the manual, according to which it is totally forbidden to play with the computer, dance, sing, watch television and practice sport because it distracts children. However, children need to learn everything that can be useful in a fight: martial arts, swimming, archery, orientation, horse riding, survival exercises and other activities.
