Catamarca (Agenzia Fides) - The Pontifical Mission Societies in Argentina have begun the preparation of the IV National Missionary Congress to be held in the Diocese of Catamarca in 2013.
For this reason Mgr. Vicente Bokalic, President of the Episcopal Commission for Missions, and María Victoria Alvarez, representative of the National Commission for the Missions, arrived in Catamarca 2 days ago to meet the Bishop of Catamarca, Msgr Luis Urbanc, the Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Care Father Jose Antonio Diaz, the commissioner of the Missionary Pastoral in the diocese, Father Carlos Robledo, and other members of the Missionary Pastoral of Catamarca.
The slogan "Missionary Argentina, share your faith" is an invitation to live in a special way the Year of the Faith. Although there is still a year to go, the date of opening is scheduled for August 17, 2013, the period of preparation is to create awareness to the participation of the IV American Missionary Congress and IX Latin American Missionary Congress (CAM 4 - Comla 9 ), to be held in November 2013 in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
