AMERICA/ARGENTINA - "Multiculturalism and challenges for the Mission", in view of the Year of Faith

Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) - On days 7, 8 and 9 July, the Centre of Missiology for the Southern Cone, "John Paul II" of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) will hold a refresher course on "Multiculturalism, secularism and challenges for the mission."
According to the news sent to Fides Agency by the Pontifical Mission Societies of Argentina, the course is part of the activities in view of the Year of Faith, and will be held at the national headquarters of the PMS, in Buenos Aires.
The program for the 3 days is the following. On Saturday, July 7, Father Gerardo Ramos, SCJ Beth, will hold a talk on "Multiculturalism and the challenges for the Mission", then Father Gabriel Napoleon, OP, will speak on "Multiculturalism and the challenges for the mission without limits in the Word of God." On July 8, Brother Angelo Duples, FMS, will speak on the theme "Multiculturalism in the Message of Mary of Guadalupe." The conference will take place on July 9 on "Secularism and challenges for the Mission" by Father Guillermo Juarez, OP. The course is intended for lay people, religious, novices, seminarians and priests who wish to strengthen their missionary formation and deepen their reflection on the missionary reality and the challenges that arise, in the context of the Year of Faith.
