Juba (Agenzia Fides) - The UN peacekeeping mission committed in southern Sudan (UNMISS) has appealed to the country’s army to ensure the release of all child soldiers used in their ranks. Recently more than 53 teenagers have been released in Bentiu. The minors were recruited by the Army for the Liberation of the Population of Sudan (SPLA), a former Army rebel group which has become the country’s Army after the secession from Sudan.
