ASIA/CHINA - Only in Christ and faith there is the strength to deal with family life and marriage

Tai Yuan (Agenzia Fides) - Only in Christ and in faith we can find the strength to face the trials and challenges of family life and marriage: the 20 couples participating in the First Meeting of Catholic marriage and family life, organized by the Cathedral of the Diocese of Tai Yuan in the Shan Xi province, strongly reaffirmed that belief. According to information gathered by Fides, for the first time the Cathedral of Tai Yuan, and the pastor have sponsored this initiative to "spirituallly recharge marriage" for the lay faithful. The participants shared together the meaning of Christian marriage and the teaching of the Church under the spiritual guidance of the priest. They tried to find together, "the origin of the force, which is Christ in worship and prayer". They understood their own weakness and that "only in the love of God, in God's Word, we can transform ourselves, improve ourselves together, for a married life based on forgiveness, tolerance and mutual understanding" .
