Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) - The Secretary General of the Pontifical Society of Holy Childhood (PSHC) Jeanne Baptistine Ralamboarison is in Argentina from 20 to 30 August to attend the First National Meeting of Holy Childhood ( in America it is called Missionary Childhoodand Adolescence - MCA) which will be held on 27 and 28 August in the city of La Rioja.
On her arrival, August 20, Baptistine Ralamboarison held two meetings with the MCA of the Diocese of San Justo (inthe morning) and with the Diocese of Quilmes (in theafternoon).
On Sunday 21 she visited the National Shrine of the Basilica of Lujan, where she attended a Mass celebrated by the National Director of the PMS, Father Oswald Pablo Leone.
During the week she will meet groups of MCA in the various dioceses throughout the Country, while from 26 to 29 August she will go to the city of La Rioja to participate in the First National Encounter of Missionary Childhood and Adolescence - MCA
This meeting is of special importance for formation and to inspire community spirit in the commitment of different MCA groups who work in the whole Country. As one can read, the first goal of the meeting: "May children and adolescents live material cooperation, spirituality and service as gestures that give life".
In Argentina, August is the month of MCA, the month dedicated to working with children and adolescents. (CE) (Agenzia Fides 22/08/2011)
