AFRICA/CAMEROON-Appointment of the Rector of the preparatory Seminary "Paul VI" in the Diocese of Nkongsamba

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Archbishop Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on May 27, 2011 appointed rev. Wolfgang Bienvenu Misoba, the diocesan clergy of Eseka rector of the inter-diocesan preparatory Seminary "Paul VI" in the Diocese of Nkongsamba (Cameroon),
The new Rector was born on October 31, 1972 at Ngog-Lituba: Logbikoy (Nyanon), in Cameroon. After his primary and secondary stusies in Logbikoy and in Bafia, he attended the preparatory Seminary Paul VI in Mbanga (1993-94), then studied philosophy in the first year at the major Seminary Paul VI in Douala (1994-95) and then continued his studies at the major Seminary Paul VI in Bafoussam (1995-96). He studied theology at the Pontifical Regional Seminary Pius XII in Siena, Italy (1997-2001). It was ordained a priest on 22 July 2001 in Edéa, so then got a moral theology license at the Alphonsian Academy in Rome (2001-2003). He returned to Cameroon in 2003, up to now he has held the following positions: Dean of the College Sainte Odile Ekiti (Edéa), Assistant priest, diocesan Master of Ceremonies, Chancellor, diocesan Chaplain of the armed forces and police, Secretary of Education, Rector of the House Don Bosco, a Member of the council of priests, Chief editor of the diocesan Pastoral Project, Secretary general of the pastoral days.
