We do not know the causes and reasons of his disappearance, but we have faith in the investigations undertaken by the authorities. Father Salvador has always been a man of integrity, simple and devoted to his ministry. We thank everyone for their interest and prayers for our brother priest, and expect to receive news about him. "
The responsible of the attorney in Tijuana, Imelda Martha Topete Almanza, confirmed the start of the investigation and research of the priest who, according to members of the congregation, was seen for the last time on the evening of Sunday, May 22. The priest has been pastor at the Divino Rostro de Jesus for five years and, according to the local press, has always been available. He became popular in the area for promoting the "family Mass ", during which he used some puppets, which he handled with skill, to explain the Gospel in an understandable way to children.
