AFRICA/KENYA-Everyone must support the Church's pastoral mission among children

Nairobi (Agenzia Fides) - "It is essential to train our children in all spiritual, moral and physical aspects, " said Cardinal John Njue, Archbishop of Nairobi, addressing the clergy, and religious, teachers and parents at the meeting of the Pontifical Mission of the Holy Childhood held in the capital of Kenya. "Everyone must support the Church in its pastoral mission among the youngest. Each of us – continued the Cardinal according to what is reported in the Catholic Information Service for Africa - should feel obliged to participate in the education of our children. Addressing the 500 children members of the PMHC in the Archdiocese of Nairobi, Cardinal Njue said that with their motto "children help children", support to all the other children who are suffering, are hungry or do not have any clothing must be provided, even if they do not belong to the PMHC.
