Nan Chong (Agenzia Fides) - “With the start of the new liturgical year, we also renew our life of faith, to follow the path of the Church awaiting the coming of the Lord”. This is how the community of Sui Ning in the Diocese of Nan Chong, province of Si Chuan, invites the faithful to live out the season of Advent and the beginning of the new liturgical year in the best manner from a spiritual point of view. According to reports sent to Fides, during the vigil of 27 November on the eve of the first Sunday of Advent, the parish priest asked the faithful to make “an accurate reflection on their own life of faith, in prayer, to make a discernment that enables us to come ever closer to our Lord, who always renews and transforms us.” At the end of the prayer vigil the first candle of the Advent wreath was lit.
