Bao Ding (Agenzia Fides) - With a solemn procession and Mass, Bishop An Shu Xin, coadjutor of the Diocese of Bao Ding, on Sunday, October 17, opened the diocesan path toward World Mission Sunday. According to information received by Fides, more than 500 faithful attended the celebration which was held in the Cathedral. In his homily, Fr. Gao Qing Hu explained to the faithful the meaning and history of World Mission Sunday, urging the reading of Sacred Scripture and the mission of evangelization, encouraging everyone to continue the campaign called "1 + 1" in which each member of the faithful brings a catechumen, so that on the Day dedicated to the Mission, "we can all present a job well done and worthy of a Christian who lives his faith and the recommendation of the Lord."
