Dumi (Agenzia Fides) – The accompanying phase has come to an end for five youth reinstated in the month of February in the village of Dumi, about 9 km from Cité Guanella. The end coincides with their entry in the new house that was built in the village of which they became citizens. The small structure has been assigned to them for a maximum period of two years, the time needed to orient themselves with absolute autonomy, and thus leave the house free for other youth of the Guanellian Center, for their further rehabilitation. "The five youth" says Fr. Guido Matarrese, head of Cite Guanella, "with the support of micro-credit may also give rise to a path of economic independence, a test of their responsibility and desire to become citizens that take responsibility for their present and future together with their fellow citizens" (see Fides 09/21/2010).
