Czestochowa (Agenzia Fides) - "Children of Africa" is the eloquent title of the photo exhibition that will be open from June 1 to August 31, 2010 at the Pilgrimage Museum of Czestochowa. The exhibition includes photographs of Fr. Maciej Osetia, priest of the Archdiocese of Czestochowa, now a missionary in Zambia. The photographs show the children of Africa, aspects of African culture, daily life in Zambia, and key moments in the social and religious life of the inhabitants of Africa. Fr. Maciej Osetia, born in 1976 in Czestochowa, ordained in 2002, has been a missionary in Zambia since 2007. From December 2007 until June 2009, he worked in Mukonchi Catholic Mission (Archdiocese of Lusaka) and currently works in Mphansya. On his website, Fr. Maciej inserts information regularly on his missionary work in Zambia, along with photographs, and his "Diary of a Missionary. Africa-Zambia." (MF/SL) (Agenzia Fides 22/5/2010)
