ASIA/VIETNAM - Vietnamese technicians and experts help people of Chad to improve food safety

Hanoi (Agenzia Fides) – Thanks to an agreement recently signed by the South-South Cooperation, a group of Vietnamese experts will help Chad to implement a series of activities aimed at improving food security in the African country. The project will last two years. The activities, which include irrigation for the growth of rice and horticulture, the increase in cereal production, fisheries, agriculture, and food procedures, all form part of the five-year plan of the National Program for Food Security for Chad .
