Moron (Agenzia Fides) – As part of the Lenten journey, in preparation for the Diocesan Missionary Congress in Moron, Buenos Aires (COMIDI1) which will take place May 21 to 23 next year, the team responsible for organizing the Congress has asked communities wishing to participate to give rise to a "Mission of Consolation," to visit the sick, bereaved families, and the elderly, bringing them the comfort of the Gospel and the Word of God.
Taking into account the different situations that may be encountered in accomplishing this mission, the team has made several texts available to the participants, intended for different types of people living who are experiencing suffering .The text is based on the Word of God and on a prayer prepared by Sister Veronica Alonso, Handmaiden of the Gospel, in charge of publications for the Mission of Consolation. The different letters, which are addressed to the sick, the elderly, or those who have lost a loved one have been written as though they were from the Blessed Virgin Mary.
