Rome (Agenzia Fides) – There is a new on-line special section on the site of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Italy on Archbishop Oscar A. Romero, upon the 30th anniversary of his assassination, prepared by the Youth Missionary Movement. Further, texts, videos, books, pictures, and stories delineate the figure and the history of this, "Pastor, Prophet, and Martyr" as the theme of the events planned for this year, to reflect on and remember his words. Every week, there will be insights to reflect on individually or as a group, on some aspect of the figure of the Archbishop of El Salvador, which will then be examined at the conferences held at the weekend for training and missionary spirituality which runs from April 30 to 2 May, in Rocca di Papa (see Fides 3/12/2009). The information contained in the pages of the "Special" dedicated to Archbishop Romero also offer information about a pilgrimage to El Salvador, a photo exhibit, and the publication of a special issue of the magazine “La Strada” (The Road), dedicated to the Archbishop of San Salvador.
