Quito (Agenzia Fides) – All the Diocesan Directors of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS), as well as communities, religious institutions with a missionary presence in Ecuador, and members of CEMIN (National Missionary Center, which belongs to the Missions Department of the Ecuadorian Bishops' Conference), were invited to attend the next National Assembly, which will be held February 8-9. According to the invitation issued by PMS of Ecuador, of which a copy was sent to Fides, the meeting will take place at the “Bethany” Center for Spirituality. The objective of the Assembly is to share missionary experiences, reinforce mission promotion, and search together for the best ways of communion to continue building a Church of disciples and missionaries of Jesus. The first day will be dedicated to interventions by participants, while the second will address working groups and the Plenary Assembly. The Final Mass will be chaired by Bishop Gonzalo López Marañón. (CE) (Agenzia Fides 30/01/2010)
