According to information sent to Fides, the Mass was presided by Bishop Botros Fahim, Auxiliary Bishop of Cairo for the Coptic Catholics. In his homily, the Bishop highlighted the relevance of the message that St. Daniel Comboni transmitted to Africa, recalling in particular that this year's anniversary was celebrated during the Special Assembly for Africa of the Synod of Bishops.
