Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – The Holy Father Benedict XVI, on October 22, 2009, accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Budjala (Democratic Republic of Congo) presented by Bishop Joseph Bolangi Egwanga Ediba Tasame, in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, canon 401 § 2. The Holy Father appointed Bishop Philibert Tembo Nlandu, CICM, Coadjutor of the same Diocese, as his successor. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 22/10/2009)
