ASIA/CHINA - Living the Year of St. Paul and preparing for summer catechism classes: 90 participants in the formation course of the Diocese of Zhou Zhi

Zhou Zhi (Agenzia Fides) – Living the Year of St. Paul with improved fervor and preparing for summer catechism classes for children: these are two of the main objectives of the Year of St. Paul formation course and the permanent formation course for seminarians and religious that was offered June 30 to July 5. Nearly 90 people participated in studying all the speeches and messages of Pope Benedict XVI on the Year of St. Paul, and the significance of this celebration in a course led by Fr. Yang Xiao Ting. Among the participants were seminarians from the Diocese of Zhou Zhi and religious from various orders: Franciscan Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, Missionaries of St. Therese, Dominicans, Missionaries of Our Lady of China, and the Presentation Order. They all lived 6 intense days of prayer, communion, and spiritual renewal that has become a new missionary impulse and a renewed personal commitment to bear witness to the Gospel, following in the footsteps of St. Paul.
