Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - An interview with Cardinal Bertone who just returned from Argentina, is published in the Italian daily edition of the Osservatore Romano of 18 November. Among the questions: “What did you find when you visited places and persons of first evangelisation in Patagonia?” Cardinal Bertone replies: “Firstly that still today, in the face of the poverty of the beginning, distances and at the same time woks achieved of visible memory, I found heroic courage and dedication to the announcement of the Kingdom of God and the promotion of civilisation with remarkable genius and creativity.”
- A virtual Course on Vatican II (in Spanish) will focus on " anticipation and general aspects of the Council, the world and church context in which it was held and the four principal Constitutions, Dei Verbum, Sacrosantum Concilium, Lumen Gentium and Gaudium et Spes, and the main themes treated Christology, anthropology and Mariology". - Three years of formation for evangelisation along the guidelines offered by Italian Bishops in the document "Comunicare il Vangelo in un mondo che cambia" and the Pastoral letter "Il volto missionario delle parrocchie in un mondo che cambia". Daily programme with lectures by experts and workshops. Participants will have the opportunity for a direct experience of evangelisation at the end of each of the three years. (C.E.)
