Asuncion (Agenzia Fides) - Service to Love and Life, special section of Catholic Family Pastoral care in Paraguay is celebrating today, 8 September the annual “Day for Life”. This date was chosen by the Catholic Bishops since it is the liturgical feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Service to Love and Life gives special attention in various fields: activity to protect life, especially the life of the unborn child; education to responsible parenthood; education on human sexuality from a Christian point of view and the importance of natural conception.
The head of the Service to Love and Life in gynaecologist Dr Nástar Stark, who has been active in this field for 30 years and works closely with the Federation of Pro-Life and Pro-Family Associations formed in the year 2000.
