Chiclayo (Fides Service) - Over 6,000 lay Catholics are carrying the Good News of Salvation to families door to door in the first stage of a Great Mission in the Peruvian diocese of Chiclayo which comprises 4 provinces Lambayeque, Chiclayo, Ferreñafe and Santa Cruz. When this first stage is completed the communities will take part in Family Assemblies 8-15 October to reflect on the theme of human promotion. This stage will close with a solemn Mass on Sunday October 16 at the Elias Aguirre sports grounds in Chiclayo presided by the Bishop Jesus Moline.
