Taipei (Fides Service) - “I hear the song of happiness” is the theme of a course in theology for young people given by Prof. Li who not only teaches but also shares his experience of faith and service at a Home for the Dying run by the Sisters of Mother Teresa of Calcutta in India. According to Christian Lift Weekly issued by the archdiocese of di Taipei, Prof. Li reveals to his students a world unknown to them: the world of the poor, sharing his experience of teaching and witnessing to the faith. He affirms: “The poor suffer because many people are indifferent and insensitive to their plight. Consequently love among people disappears. The Home for the Dying helped us to rediscover sensitivity and love”. Prof. Li ends his talk encouraging the students to help the poor because, he is convinced that “it is only when we work to help others that we hear the song of true happiness”.
